Namun, saat lomba berlangsung, Rizky merasa tegang dan cemas. Dia ingin menang dan membuktikan bahwa dia lebih pintar dari Dika. Dia terus menerus memikirkan jawaban-jawaban yang belum dia ketahui dan khawatir jika Dika menang.
Di tengah-tengah lomba, Rizky membuat kesalahan dalam menjawab pertanyaan. Ia merasa kecewa dan merasa semua usahanya selama ini telah sia-sia. Setelah lomba selesai, Rizky terus memikirkan kekalahan ini dan mulai merasa iri pada Dika yang berhasil menang.
Sementara itu, Dika sangat senang dengan kemenangannya. Namun, ia merasa sedih melihat Rizky yang terlihat sedih dan murung. Ia memutuskan untuk menghampiri Rizky dan meminta maaf karena telah menang dalam lomba itu.
Rizky pun tersentuh oleh sikap Dika. Dia merasa bodoh karena telah merasa iri dan cemburu pada sahabatnya yang sebenarnya selalu ingin yang terbaik untuknya. Dari situ, Rizky belajar bahwa persaingan sehat itu penting, tetapi persahabatan yang baik itu jauh lebih berharga.
Dari kekalahan tersebut, Rizky belajar untuk tidak hanya fokus pada kemenangan semata, tetapi juga belajar untuk bersenang-senang dan menikmati proses. Dia belajar untuk tidak terlalu keras pada dirinya sendiri dan menerima kekalahan sebagai bagian dari hidup.
Rizky dan Dika pun tetap berteman dan bahkan semakin erat setelah kejadian itu. Mereka berjanji untuk selalu mendukung satu sama lain dan tidak membiarkan persaingan mempengaruhi persahabatan mereka. Kini, mereka tahu bahwa persaingan sehat itu penting, tetapi persahabatan dan saling dukung antar teman adalah yang paling penting.
